At low temperature, alga grows and metabolizes slowly, resulting in low amount of biology and grease. Contrarily, those processes are bloomed and synthesis of grease is activated by enzyme, leading to the accumulation of grease. When the temperature is beyond 18, amount of biology and grease was decreased with the increase of temperature. The reason is that the alga cells entered into the contabescence period in advance and the activities of the enzymes relevant to the synthesis of grease in cells was reduced, even partly de-activated. Therefore, suitable temperature is beneficial to the growth of alga and accumulation of grease. |
