【求助】self absorption effect

小弟投了篇硅包荧光素的文章，审稿人给了一段话，不甚明白，想请高人帮忙。 In discussion of figure 3, the authors point to a blue shift compared to pure dye. The figure shows a red shift. It would also be interesting to see the difference of the spectra in water, as any solvent related shift would be expected to be reduced in the FSN compared to pure dye, which also helps to indicate how protected the dye is in the FSN. Also could the shift be caused by any self absorption effect? If so would this have an effect on their photostability measurements。 尤其是self absorption effect是什么意思，它跟荧光素和包裹荧光素的纳米粒子的荧光光谱有何关系，请给位赐教 |
