【招聘】Post-doctoral position in the field of neurosciences, Paris, France

如题，法国巴黎的博士后空位，各位虫友有兴趣联系啊 A post-doc position is available starting in spring 2011 in the team of Dr. Selimi at the CIRB-Collège de France, Paris, France. Our young team is studying the molecular pathways regulating the formation of neuronal networks using genetically modified mice and the olivo-cerebellar network as a model system. Information about our group's research interests can be found at http://npa.upmc.fr/fselimi/MMSF_Group.html. Our team is part of the CIRB, the Center for Interdisciplinary Research in Biology (CIRB), a novel Collège de France / CNRS / INSERM research structure located in the Center of Paris. This center benefits from being in the vicinity of several other prestigious institutes, including top-level neuroscience laboratories, and from an extraordinary rich intellectual milieu, with conferences that cover all aspects of knowledge. We are looking for a highly motivated candidate to be involved in an ambitious project with the aim of finding synaptic signaling pathways underlying synapse specificity. This project uses state-of-the art techniques to decipher these pathways in vivo, for example the bacTRAP and synaptic protein profiling technologies. Our aim is to analyze these new synaptic pathways at the molecular, biochemical and cellular levels. Experience in either of these fields and a recent PhD will be required.
