附有详细的要求和联系方式，希望对虫友们有帮助。 PhD position in theoretical particle physics (strongly and weakly interacting systems) At the Institute of Theoretical Physics at the Friedrich-Schiller-University Jena a position is available for a PhD student in the area of strong and electroweak interactions. Focus is the treatment of multi-interaction theories with strongly and weakly interacting sectors and/or the Higgs effect. Such systems are encountered, e.g., in strong initial and final state interactions in electroweak physics or in technicolor extensions of the standard model. The research is embedded in the German Research Foundation project "Matter under the influence of strong and weak interactions", and can be performed with numerical lattice calculations and/or functional continuum methods. The successful candidate can participate in the graduate school "Quantum and gravitational fields" funded by the German Research Foundation at the Friedrich-Schiller-University Jena. Candidates are expected to have an academic master degree or equivalent including at least six months of research experience. The position is a 3-years position at the German TV-L E 13/2 salary level. The starting date is negotiable. The university wants to promote women in science and education and is particularly looking forward to receive applications from qualified female researchers.
