Temperature is a important factor to influence the growth and function and one of the key factors to adjust bio-chemical process of many land ecosystems. The growth of land plants was impacted to some extent by continual warming of the climate all over the world. Metasequoia glyptostroboides are so-called the living fossil. Orginal population of them grows in borders between hubei, hunan and chongqing with much narrow distribution of growth areas. The distribution of the original population is also influenced by the change of the climate, especialy the temperature.
