The robustness of these NIP and MIP materials is demonstrated by the fact that over an 8-month period, similar responses towards both NIP and MIP materials was observed following the use of a range of solvents on the SPE columns over time. Reproducibility of extraction observed when two separate SPE cartridges were packed in parallel is also illustrated in Figs. 5 and 6. Similarly the small error bars evident in Figs. 5, 6 and 8 illustrate the reproducibility of response of each SPE cartridge to repeat loadings.
