    金刚石树脂基砂轮是以金刚石为磨料,以树脂为结合剂,加入适当的填充材料,通过配制、混合、热压成型、固化、机械加工等工艺过程制成的具有一定刚性的磨削工具。其具有制造工艺简单,成本低,砂轮易修整等优点,而且树脂基磨具具有一定的弹性,有利于改善工件表面的粗糙度,被广泛应用于陶瓷、玻璃、硬质合金等硬脆材料的磨削加工中。但由于金刚石的化学稳定性极好,在常温下,金刚石对酸、碱、盐等化学试剂都表现为惰性。因此,树脂与金刚石颗粒之间的结合性能不理想。目前常用的处理方法如镀铜、镀镍等虽然能改善树脂与金刚石颗粒之间的浸润性,但多是机械嵌合,难以形成化学键的结合,还会影响金刚石磨粒的自锐性;而且关于偶联剂处理金刚石磨料的文献所见较少,文献中所采用的处理方法均为单独使用偶联剂处理,未对金刚石进行预处理,处理工艺杂乱,改性效果不稳定,对砂轮的性能提升不明显。
    本文中采用NaOH溶液对金刚石磨料进行了预处理,然后用硅烷偶联剂进行表面改性,通过FTIR,润湿性,冲击强度,磨削性能等对处理效果进行表征,发现经过处理后,金刚石表面的化学成分发生改变,羟基吸收峰的强度减小;金刚石的润湿性也发生了变化,由亲水变为疏水,最明显的是为了减小与水的接触面积,经过处理的金刚石在水面上由分散状态变为聚拢状态;通过对树脂样条冲击强度和洛氏硬度的测试发现,处理后的金刚石对树脂基体的冲击强度有增强作用,但洛氏硬度无明显变化。
