由于锐钛矿 (101)晶面的衍射峰和板钛矿 (120)、(111)晶面的衍射角相互重叠，从这两处的特征衍射峰难以明确区分两种晶型的存在，在2θ = 31゜处的衍射峰为板钛矿(121)晶面的特征衍射峰，可以证明板钛矿晶型的TiO2的存在，类似地，通过“三尖峰”等其他锐钛矿型TiO2衍射峰也可以证明锐钛矿相的存在。

As the overlapping of diffraction peaks of rystal faces of anatase with that of the rystal faces of brookite (120)、(111) , it is hard to determine the existence of the two crystal forms . when 2θ = 31゜, there are the characteristic diffraction peaks of the rystal faces of brookite (121) ,which is an evidence of the existence of TiO2 in the brookite crystal form.
Similarly ，the existence of anatase phase can be proved by the “three sharp peaks” and other diffraction peaks in anatase form.
