流行病学现场调查和动物实验均已证明，一定剂量的硒可缓解氟中毒，使尿氟排泄，纠正自由基和脂质代谢混乱，明显抑制氟诱导的脂质过氧化，使GSH-PX活性显著升高，血氟降低。

Epidemiological field investigations and animal experiments have proved that a certain dose of selenium can be alleviated fluorosis, urinary fluoride excretion to correct the free radicals and lipid metabolism disorder, significantly inhibited the fluoride-induced lipid peroxidation, the activity of GSH-PX increased significantly lower blood fluoride.

A theory of oxygen free radicals on fluoride poisoning has been proposed for step-down study on Fluoride poisoning patients with lipid peroxidation 。

Epidemiological field investigations and animal experiments have proved that a certain dose of selenium could alleviate fluorosis, make urinary fluoride excreting to correct the free radicals and lipid metabolism disorder,this significantly inhibite the fluoride-induced lipid peroxidation,increase the activity of GSH-PX，also  decrease the blood fluoride.
