近年来,氟和有关微量元素关系方面的研究取得了重要进展,尤其是微量元素硒拮抗氟中毒方面,是防治氟中毒的新领域。

流行病学现场调查和动物实验均已证明,一定剂量的硒可缓解氟中毒,使尿氟排泄,纠正自由基和脂质代谢混乱,明显抑制氟诱导的脂质过氧化,使GSH-PX活性显著升高,血氟降低。

Epidemiological field investigations and animal experiments have proved that a certain dose of selenium can be alleviated fluorosis, urinary fluoride excretion to correct the free radicals and lipid metabolism disorder, significantly inhibited the fluoride-induced lipid peroxidation, the activity of GSH-PX increased significantly lower blood fluoride.

A theory of oxygen free radicals on fluoride poisoning has been proposed for step-down study on Fluoride poisoning patients with lipid peroxidation 。
