| It is fully right. XRD is uesd to characterize the crystall Pd(In the lattice), while XPS can onyl analysis the surface, normally around 1-10 nm. On the surface after high temperature calcination without reduction, it must be composed of Pd and PdO. Here the PdO dominate the surface. If you donot trust waht I have said, I am sure you will get the same answers as I said when you ask the operator of XPS and XRD: |
