| The Raman-UV adsorption spectrum of chain-like polyene biological molecule canthaxanthin in cyclohexane was measured. It was found by the study of this spectrum that 1) the transition shows Einstein shift compared with common spectrum 2) the strength of carbon-carbon bond and frequency multiplication of Raman spectrum can reach 30 % that of the baseband and 3) the Raman scattering cross section of this molecule is large than ordinary ones by six orders of magnitude. Furthermore, the results were analyzed by feeble damped vibration model. |

| Raman spectrum and ultraviolet-visible (UV) absorption spectrum of Chain polyenes biological molecules Canthaxanthin in cyclohexane were measured and analyzed .the raman spectrum intensity of carbon-carbon bond's sum frequency and frequency multiplication can reach 30% of fundamental frequency peak intensity.Raman scattering cross section of fundamental frequency is 6 orders bigger than that of general molecular, and the results applied on coherent weakly damped electron-Lattice vibration model were analyzed. |
