【Discussion】Was he flirting?

 Yesterday evening, one of my female classmate and I went to meet an old classmate, who returned from Japan. After registration his room in hotel, we soon came to a restaurant to have supper. During the meal, we talk some things about us and about our old classmates, such as everyones’life and work. Occasionally, he said: “eng, you’re the woman that man would like.” When we(my female classmate and I) asked why he is not married yet and said that we can introduce some good girls to him. You know what? He said( to me):’You’re the kind of girl that I want to have.” I was almost faint and pretended not noticing those words. He said those words like no one else present. Acturally, Besides my female classmate, my son was there, too. And fortunately, he is only 3 years old and is not noticing such kind of words. The other time he said similar words was on the phone and almost four years ago, when I was pregnant.  Was he flirting or just a polite remark? He wasn’t speaking those words to the other female classmate. If he was, should I meet him again? He will back soon and buy an apartment near my home. It was impossible that I never contact with him. After all, we’re old classmates and in the same industry. I don’t want to make an enemy for me. That is the style when I was young. As an adult, I want to handle this properly.
