旋流干燥器(SMTD)作为一种新型的干燥装置,其结构简单、干燥效率高、处理量大,成为气-固两相干燥研究的新方向。文中用流体力学软件Fluent对旋流干燥器内部流场和颗粒的运动状况进行了数值模拟研究,采用雷诺应力模型(RSM)模拟气相流动,采用离散相模型(DPM)追踪颗粒的运动轨迹。模拟结果表明:旋流干燥器内部流场类似呈旋转中心对称分布,在不同的流动区域,气体压力场、速度场分布呈规则变化;颗粒的运动更为复杂,带有随机性;总体颗粒运动轨迹的形状与气相流场的分布趋于一致。

The computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software package Fluent was used in this study for the numerical simulations of flow fields and particles movements inside the SMTD dryer.

SMTD is a new type of desiccator with simple structure, high efficient and high capacity, becomes a new research domain  of gas-solid desiccator. In this paper, we use fluid mechanics software Fluent to simulate the inner flow field and particle’s motion state and RSM for the gas flow, DPM for particle’s path. The results indicate: Inner flow field is of similar central rotatable distribution, in different areas, gas pressure field and velocity field change regularly; movement of particle is more complex, which is random distribution; in general, the particles’ path agree with the distribution of that of gas flow field.
