石英玻璃是一种只含二氧化硅单一成份的特种玻璃,按纯度分为高纯、普通和掺杂三类。 水晶是一种无色透明的石英结晶体矿物。它的主要化学成分是二氧化硅，当二氧化硅结晶完美时就是水晶； 石英是一种物理性质和化学性质均十分稳定的矿产资源，晶体属三方晶系的氧化物矿物，即低温石英（a-石英），是石英族矿物中分布最广的一个矿物种。广义的石英还包括高温石英（b-石英）。石英块又名硅石， 主要是生产石英砂(又称硅砂)的原料， 也是石英耐火材料和烧制硅铁的原料。 至于“石英水晶”的说法没有听说过 |

从google上搜到的解释。简言之，石英玻璃就是石英晶体先升温到2000度然后冷却生成的玻璃态物质。 Fused quartz and fused silica are types of glass containing primarily silica in amorphous (non-crystalline 非晶态) form. They are manufactured using several different processes. Note that glasses formed by the traditional 'melt-quench' methods (heating the material to melting temperatures, then rapidly cooling to the solid glass phase), are often referred to as 'vitreous'(玻璃态), as in 'vitreous silica'. The term 'vitreous' is synonymous with 'glass', when used in the melt-quench context. Fused quartz is manufactured by melting naturally occurring quartz crystals of high purity at approximately 2000°C, using either an electrically heated furnace (electrically fused) or a gas/oxygen-fuelled furnace(炉子) (flame fused). Fused quartz is normally transparent. The optical and thermal properties of fused quartz are superior to those of other types of glass due to its purity. For these reasons, it finds use in situations such as semiconductor fabrication and laboratory equipment. It has better ultraviolet transmission than most other glasses, and so is used to make lenses and other optics for the ultraviolet spectrum. Its low coefficient of thermal expansion also makes it a useful material for precision mirror substrates. Fused quartz can also form naturally. The naturally occurring form is a metamorphic rock known as quartzite(石英岩). An increase in heat causes the crystals within the quartz to become fused together. An important distinction is that quartzite is not necessarily an amorphous form. |
