【请教】麻烦高人看看关于晶体数据的审稿意见 已有2人参与

文章今天回来了 有个审稿人提了些关于晶体数据的意见， 我看不太懂 请高人指点。 这些问题容不容易解决？我该如何解决？ >The structure of 1 ：the thermal ellipsoids look weird enough and different enough from each other to stop and think about what else there might be. i.e. some are nice ellipsoids while others are 'pancakes' with differing orientation. Could one consider disordered peroxo ligands for instance? The NPD oxygen atoms should be set isotropic in the .cif file. > >For structure 2, the unit cell is huge, and perhaps (likely merohedral) twinning is a problem. Furthermore, the Cs-O distances of 2 angstroms is unfathomable for Cs3. That and all the partially occupied water molecules are also common signs of merohedral twinning. Perhaps this should be checked and mentioned. |
