[交流] My favorite plant---cactus

Which is your favorite plant? For me, the answer is cactus. Mentioned it, the first scene appears in our mind must be his thorns. Maybe some of us have ever been stung by it. Cactus does not have the height of the poplar tree, neither has the short coming of the night-blooming cereus, let alone the fragrance of the rose flower. But it is still my favorite plant.
I love it because of its iron will to live. Cactus can live in the desert, no matter how hard the environment is. He can smile at the strong son and sing in the big storm. He does not need anybody to take care but to live his own life. He can grow happily in the lonely corner and without any depression. What the cactus has is exactly the human’s need. We also need the iron will to live, because it is not easy for us to live in the society. We may face the pressures coming from work, house, family and marriage. Sometimes are even harder than our thought, so what should we do then? Somebody choose to suicide, so there are why so many reports about people’s death. At this moment, we should learn from the cactus.
I also like his behavior. He can make friend with anybody but also keep a suitable distance. You can know him clearly, but you cannot touch him as you want. Because he has his own self-pride. This also needs us to learn. As man, one should be friend to everyone, but does not need to be so closed. We should have our own principles, which just like cactus that keeping distance. For us, if we do not have our principles, we may lose ourselves in the complicate world. Because the world is full of temptation, it is easy for a person to do something that is not good if one has no principle.
Cactus is a common plant, but a good example for me to live.

i loved cactuslike plants for their iron will to live, so i buy one, not cactus but aloe, it's also easy to keep, but has not thorns. its really beautiful even when unblooming. but i am so shamed and angry when i found its dying maybe the reason is i wash it a little more. just like cactus when you care more about it, it can not bear? i really dont think this is a good point. yes, we should learn their strong will to face to tough surroundings, but shouldnt we also learn to live much better when be more cared? it's good to show our armor to the tough things, and much better to welcome careness happily with a grateful heart.
