|
The controlled heterogeneous condensation is very suitable for producing high-concentrated aerosols with almost identical particle size. A stream of condensation nuclei is exposed to the vapour of a low-volatile liquid which is formed according to the ambient thermodynamic conditions (saturated vapour-pressure dependence). The formation of the produced aerosol takes place by condensation of the supersaturated vapour onto each nuclei in a condensation tube in a laminare flow regime. All nuclei grow to almost uniform particle size. |
