[交流] 【求助】请教一个关于对称性破损的问题 已有3人参与

看了一篇文献上说,为了计算破损态能量,用开壳层不受限制的UB3LYP先计算分子的三重态能量,再在三重态的基础上运用轨道和电子密度混合方法把三重态与单重态混合来计算BS态的能量。请教各位前辈,“三重态的基础上运用轨道和电子密度混合方法把三重态与单重态混合来计算BS态的能量”是什么意思啊,具体的高斯输入文件怎样弄呢?十分感谢!

I didn't find any mistake. Just try it. Check the in the output.

"在三重态的基础上", I think it means that you optimize your structure by triplet calculation, and then calculate the broken-symmetry state at this optimized structure.

Thank you very much! But my structure don't need optimizing,its structure have already be obtained by experiment.And I try my input file and found that the in the output is 1.0017.Does it mean that it is broken-symmetry state?
