Ventilated panels Three British patent applications have been filed. The first concerns a method for making ventilated knitted garment panels in which a ventilation channel is formed as part of the knitted fabric base. The invention states that the garment fabric is knitted on a machine with two needle-beds, using double-ended latch needles transferable between them. Conventional manufacture of ventilation channels involves joining together a number of chanels to make up the garment by stitching or bonding. There is the need to overcome the disadvantages of having numerous panels and to reduce the number of seams，simplifying the manufacturing process .The garment’s cooling capacity depends an wall surface area channel length and temperature difference. |
