Our results show that the phonon spectrum of the AU and CU were similar on the whole, leading to a comparable thermal conductance between them. However, as a result of the mass discrepancy between AU and CU, some particular differences were still observed in their thermal conductances.
请楼主注意行文的时态。在你的研究结果表述中，AU和CU有相类似的声子色散关系是你的实验结果，用过去时表述更为恰当，同理见 “were observed ...".
另外，"sharing similar phonon spectrum"与 "the phonon spectrum of the AU and CU were similar"均可，both are ok. 前者不要加定冠词 "the";
