Today is Sunday. I wake up at half past nine in the morning, however, got up at about three o'clock in the afternoon. I finished my travel in Matters in Ming Dynasty (Book Seven). What a disturbing period at the end of Chongzhen Emperor, which is described in Book Seven. Supported by a huge bottle of Cocacola, I was never thirsty and hungry when deeply immersed in the book. But now, I am very uncomfortable, for there is nothing in my stomach but at least a litre of cocacola! How foolish I am! 不知道《明朝那些事儿》第七册，能不能翻译成Matters in Ming Dynasty (Book Seven)？ [ Last edited by yjcmwgk on 2010-4-4 at 19:21 ] |

I don't think Matters in Ming Dynasty is the suitable translation of 《明朝那些事儿》. In Chinese, 事儿 is oral and joking. but matter is too formal in English. Who can translate the title, please? [ Last edited by yjcmwgk on 2010-4-4 at 19:59 ] |
