In the crystal nucleation and growth process, the reaction temperature, time, solvent and surface active agents have an important impact on their size and shape. When using 1,2 - propanediol as the solvent at temperatures which is below 150 ℃, with ethylene glycol, 1,4 - butanediol, 1,6 - hexanediol as solvents, meanwhile any other corresponding conditions are unchanged but the temperature reduces to below 186 ℃, we only get the amorphous antimony sulfide nanoparticles. In the experiment, four solvents have defferent surface properties. When they are used as the reaction medium, they will have a crucial effect on its reactant solubility, reactivity as well as dispersion. The reasons why the morphology of antimony sulfide are different in different solvents are still not clear. However, we still believe that the solvent polarity, viscosity and so on will impact the morphology of the final producets. |
