[交流] 关于自带Funding

最近申请米国博后
有好几个大Boss都回信说需要自带Money

“Thank you for your recent letter inquiring about a postdoctoral position in my laboratory. At the present time, it is unlikely that I will have salary funds for making further appointments in the forthcoming year. If you are able to obtain your own funding, I would be delighted to consider your application further. At that time, I would need three letters of recommendation and copies of your undergraduate and graduate transcripts.“

请各位达人指教一下这种是需要申请NIH基金什么的还是公派什么的也可以m么？

其中一个还给了好多申请基金的地方，申请的话需要和国外老板商量着写申请吧？
