| There are more business dealing with dangeous chemicals in the economically developed coastal provinces in southeast China. Associated with this, there exist more incidents of hazardous chemicals, such as in Guangdong, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, and Shandong. On the other hand, for relatively less-well-developed western provinces, there are less hazardous chemicals business and thus fewer incidents, in regions such as Tibet, Xinjiang, and Qinghai. |
