收到一个回复，可是方向不是我想要的 郁闷

海发了申请欧洲博后，特别是英国的 手续繁 等的时间长。中间在国内bbs看到一个广告就发了一份美国的 uiowa大学导师下面的回复。后来去他网页看看 他是一个德国人 是uiowa 一个学院（不是化院）research scientist 还兼职几个其他学院的 什么教授 ，文章好像也不怎么强。 我是有机化学 他刚好要有机合成的 可他不是化院。估计过去就帮他合成些中间体。方向不是我想要的 郁闷 。怎么办？拒面吗？ Dear xxx, Thank you very much for your application for a postdoctoral position in my laboratory. Can you please ask your references to forward me their Letters of Recommendation? Since I can't invite you for an interview I would like you to talk to somebody who lived in Iowa and knows me and the laboratory (and who is not currently affiliated with the laboratory).
