How does relativistic effect of electron's mass effect Ab-initio calcu? We know that the Ab-initio calculation is just based on fundamental QM postulates and several matter constants, include the mass of electron. For some elements, like gold, the mass the inner shell electron can not be considered as constant because of relativistic effect. How this effect the calculation and what is practical solution for this? |
