近年来，随着分子细胞病理学和遗传学的发展，研究者发现染色体数目和结构的畸变在膀胱UC中十分常见， Recently, with the development of molecular pathocytology and genetics, researchers find out that the aberration of chromosome number and the distortion of structure are commonly observed in the bladder UC. 而FISH作为检测DNA 序列及其变化的技术，通过对膀胱UC患者尿液中脱落细胞进行染色体遗传学改变的检测，发现其敏感度高于细胞形态学分析，特异度则与细胞形态学相当。 By examining genetic variation of the chromosome in the exfoliated cells obtained from the bladder UC sufferers’s urine, FISH, a technique employed to detect the NDA sequence and its variation, was shown higher sensitivity than the cell morphology analyses and a comparable specificity to that drawn by cell morphology. 因为UUT粘膜与膀胱粘膜具有同源性，表现在UC上的遗传学改变也相同。 The genetic variation of the UUT mucous membrane shown in UC is the same to that of bladder mucous membrane due to their homology.
