我给老外编辑写了一封信,请大家看看可以吗?

我的一篇文章投给了国外一杂志社,编辑把我的文章先前只给了一位审稿人看,并返回给我作了修改,可我二次email给他们后,编辑又请了一位审稿人对我的稿件进行了评审.该审稿人在回复中有如下一要求Discussion and Study Design: It would have been very valuable to have two types of orthopedic controls, particularly osteoarthritis and fracture. It may be that the proteins differentiating ON from normal, would not differentiate ON from OA and fracture. 我现在由于经费及时间的问题,没法再补充做实验,因此,想和这位审稿人联系一下,把我不能补充做实验的理由告诉他,先取得他的谅解.我想这样做的好处是防患于未然,以免修改稿件到他手里后直接被拒.以下是我给编辑的信,请大家帮忙看看,这样写是否合适,有没有什么错误,谢谢! Dear ^^^, After thinking carefully about the comment of the additional reviewer, I have something about his comment to talk about with him. I'm not sure if it is permissive to contact you to inquire about the email address of the additional reviewer. I would be greatly appreciate if you could send it to me. If it is not permissive for me to contact with the reviewer, can you be kind to transmit the following to him. His comment: P2, Conclusion: Correlation does not necessarily imply causation. Detailed studies need to be done with the 7 proteins to determine whether, for example, they differentiate IONFH from osteoarthritis, from bone trauma, etc. Discussion and Study Design: It would have been very valuable to have two types of orthopedic controls, particularly osteoarthritis and fracture. In one hand,the cost on proteomic study is very expensive, but we did not receive outside funding in support of our research; In the other hand, I am a student, I will graduate in June 2006,so I don't have much time to do additional study.
