前些天在elsevier数据库下的一个期刊投了一篇稿子,因为关键词的选择几次退回,期刊的Manager说是要关键词要从此期刊的分类表里选择,我按照做了,结果还是返回,返回的原因也是一样的,可我的关键词确实来自那个期刊的分类表,但第四次原稿还是返回,原因一样.于是我就给这个期刊去了一封询问信,同时也干脆删除了文章的提交. ............... 没想到,问题出来了. 询问的邮件没回复. 但是,我在elsevier下同时投给另一期刊的出的另一篇文章却让我冷汗直流,本来处于Editor invited状态,结果晚上一看,直接拒了,理由就是However it still does not meet the journal's desired standard. We regret to inform you that we cannot admit the manuscript into the formal peer review process. A revised version will not be considered. 更让我吃惊的是给我这封邮件居然还CC:publishing.support@elsevier.com 在第二个期刊我已经发过一篇文章了,对他的格式是很熟悉了,就算格式不符合,也不用"A revised version will not be considered."这样吧? 我猜想是我的询问信惹恼了第一个期刊的Manager,然后他发邮件给Elsevier下的其他期刊的Manager,结果我就成了牺牲品  不知道大家碰到过类似的问题没? 我也很郁闷呢，早上打开邮箱就看到 It has come to our attention that you did not follow the guidelines for submitting potential referees for the above-mentioned article. Consequently, we regret to inform you that we will not be able to further consider your manuscript for possible publication in our journal. Also note, that due the large number of new submissions to our journal this particular article will not be considered if it is re-submitted. 都一个月了，就算没按要求也不至于不给改的机会吧！并且让推荐的什么可能的审稿人有8个，还要求在不同的地方。我早上又仔细看了一下要求： This list should not contain names which have been suggested by you or any of your co-authors for previously submitted manuscripts. It should be a globally geographically diverse list of potential reviewers; there should be no more than two suggested referees from any particular area/region/country. 尤其像第一条，能保证就那么精确吗？当是投出的时候那么着急，也没把这看的很重要啊！比较郁闷 |
