A new therapy against mastitis in dairy herds
Mastitis is one of the most prevalent and most costly diseases afflicting dairy cows world-wide, and antibiotics are routinely used for curing existing subclinical infections and for preventing new infections during the dry period. The continued use of antibiotics has some disadvantages, including the perceived connection to the emergence of antibiotic-resistant human pathogens. So, there is an increased interest in alternative approaches. Now, we are developing a controlled delivery drug system, showing great promise of remarkable and lasting effects on dairy cow mastitis, and are seeking cooperators from EU countries to develop this new approach together.

An efficient therapy against mastitis in dairy herds
Mastitis is one of the most prevalent and most costly diseases afflicting dairy cows world-wide.  Antibiotics are routinely used for curing existing subclinical infections in order to prevent new infections during the dry period. The continued use of antibiotics is disadvantageous in connection wtih the perceived emergence of antibiotic-resistant human pathogens. As such, there is an increased interest in developing alternative approaches. Here we develop a controlled delivery drug system, which shows great promise for remarkable and lasting effects on dairy cow mastitis. We are seeking cooperative project from EU countries to jointly develop this new approach.

Now, we are developing a controlled delivery system, showing great promise of remarkable and long-lasting effects on dairy cow mastitis, and are looking forward to cooperators from EU countries.
