Oxygen chemisorption on samples outgassed for 1 h at 773 K was performed by introduction of a dose of 70 umol of O2 per gram of sample at 77 K followed by 15 min outgassing at 77 K, warming to room temperature (RT) and finally outgassing at RT. Irradiation treatments at 77 K were carried out by placing the cell in a quartz dewar flask filled with liquid N2 and employing four UV fluores- cent lamps (Sylvania, F6WBLB-T5, maximum at 365 nm) to irradiate the sample. In all these cases, the spectra were taken at 77 K. |
