Ph.D. Opportunity in Mechanical Engineering – Fall 2026

One Ph.D. position is available in Department of Engineering Technology at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte for Fall 2026. Our group is seeking a highly motivated and skilled PhD student and working in the following areas: intelligent robotic automation, AI for materials science and advanced manufacturing. Candidates with B.S. or M.S. degrees in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a closely related field are encouraged to apply. Experience and skills in programming and data analysis is preferred. This position will be open until filled.
