JHM太狠了吧,就这么几条意见,就要我大修,这可是我头一次大修呢,本人博士期间发表的SCI6、7篇,也就这篇大修了,其它都中修或小修,包括两个比JHM更好的刊物。 Dear 。。。, The review of your manuscript, 。。。。, submitted to Journal of Hazardous Materials has been completed. The reviewers recommend the need for major revisions. Reviewer #1 This paper of 。。et al. is written in a clear language. The experimental methods used include batch tests and spectroscopic analyses and the results demonstrated the potential application of Fenton-like reagent to treat soil contaminated by petroleum. However, the paper could be strengthened if the authors address the following comments: 1. Soil organic matter (SOM) can also react to H2O2 in the Fenton reagent. Actually, H2O2 treatment has been a general method to remove soil organic matter (SOM) for soil mineralogical analyses (Soukup et al. 2008). Because the H2O2 consumption capacity of SOM was not considered by the authors, all the experimental results could be significantly interfered by the existence of SOM. 2. The IR spectra in Figure 3 are not clear. I would suggest the authors plot the spectra in absorbance mode and indicate the wavenembers for major peaks (accordingly, Figure S4 can be eliminated). Meanwhile, the IR spectra need to be calibrated or normalized to be quantitative. 3. The sections 4 in the supporting information seems to be redundant. Reviewer #2: This is an interesting and well written paper. I would like to suggest to the authors to briefly discuss the economic aspects of the Fenton-like oxidation in the optimum conditions identified in this study.
