| we think for the lycopene and β-carotene in CS2, the distance betwen identical molecules increases along with the decrease of concentration. The corresponding decrease of interaction forces leads to the increase of molecular structured order, which means the linear molecules become straight and long and the delocalized π electrons extend. Accordingly the status of each C-C bond of molecule turns to become identical, coherent weakly damped electron-lattice vibration can be produced uder laser irradiation, raman scattering cross section increases and also other optical phenomona can happen. |
