意大利比萨高师今年有五个博士申请名额。全奖17000欧每年+免费食堂+3000欧每年的会议经费。欢迎各位老师、朋友、同学推荐。 Information can be found here: https://www.sns.it/en/phd-admission-competition The positions in chemistry are primarily on physical chemistry, and more specifically on theoretical and computational chemistry. However, it is possible for students to proceed with a combined theoretical-experimental PhD thesis through co-supervision. Our main research interests are in: - theoretical development and implementations of models for the prediction of spectra - application of computational chemistry to study organic and inorganic molecules, in particular their physical properties through vibrational and UV-visiblespectroscopy. In particular, we have a well-established expertise in the study of chiroptical properties. - software development to design new visualization methods to support computational simulations. - study of solvation structures and conformational flexibility. A few technical details about the PhD positions: - the PhD course lasts 4 years. - The monthly salary is defined at the national level but students receive each month an extra amount to cover (at least in part) their lodging expenses. - meals, including breakfast and dinner are free at the canteen of the school. - students have access to special mobility funds (about 3000 EUR/year) to cover their travel and general expenses to attend conferences, schools or scientific visits. Other funds are available through the school's networks (e.g., ERASMUS, collaboration programs...)
