【讨论】A question about agglomerate of magnetite nanoparticles

Magnetite particles(40-50nm derived from the Scherrer formula) was obtained by hydrothermal method in my experiment. Generally they tend to form agglomerates whose size maybe in micro-meter range. Then the product was dried at 50℃ in an oven(not vacuum) for hours. The question is if magnetite nanoparticles can be oxidized during the drying process(not vacuum) or my product itself actually is micro-meter size. [ Last edited by JluChem on 2009-10-30 at 14:53 ] |
