[交流] 【讨论】A question about agglomerate of magnetite nanoparticles

Magnetite particles(40-50nm derived from the Scherrer formula) was obtained by hydrothermal method in my experiment. Generally they tend to form agglomerates whose size maybe in micro-meter range. Then the product was dried at 50℃ in an oven(not vacuum) for hours. The question is if magnetite nanoparticles can be oxidized during the drying process(not vacuum) or my product itself actually is micro-meter size.

从XRD结果中用谢乐方程计算出来的是晶粒尺寸大小,而实际颗粒尺寸因为团聚等原因是要远大于那个计算结果的。并且加温干燥过程很容易使团聚加剧。至于氧化的问题也许会有,但是应该影响很小。

It tends to be oxided by the O2 in the air and the agglomeration may be for the fundamental magnegic properties.

“the agglomeration may be for the fundamental magnegic properties” means the magnetic power among the particles can cause the agglomeration phenomena.
