我原文的一句话： In conclusion, we provide here the first evidence for the therapeutic value of amiloride by blocking ASICs in rheumatoid arthritis. Investigation of the articular cartilage at the molecular level has resulted in a new understanding of the processes involved in the destruction and remodeling of cartilage in diseased joints. 审稿人的一句话： it is not correct to state that this is evidence of a therapeutic value of amiloride by blocking ASICs in rheumatoid arthritis. As stated above the authors are not studying the disease process of rheumatoid arthritis, but the response to adjuvant-induced arthritis which is being taken as a model of rheumatoid arthritis. The authors might wish to comment briefly on the suitability of this model for studying the process of rheumatoid arthritis. Similarly it is not appropriate to consider these 'diseased' joints |
