一种物质在电极上还原,我们希望它的循环伏安氧化还原峰可逆性好还是希望它只有还原峰没有氧化峰?

I think I know your case now but that is really a question on methodology.  Objectively, it is impossible to recognize the potential range in reduction before CV, except for following related research papers.  When doing research in reduction, it is a tradition to begin the scan in negative direction forward. During the cycle, oxidation wave may appear or disappear when scan turn around to more positive potential than the incipient one you set before. So there is not any necessity whether the disappearance of oxidation wave will be better in CV. If there is signal of anode current, you can better understand more properties on electrode surface. So it is totally dependent on your experiment design and your analysis from CV diagram.

It is really hard to answer no matter who saw the question in the way you asked.  During the cyclic voltammetry test, the redox reaction on the surface of electrode could be considered in the state of equilibrium ideally but not as reversible one, when applied certain potential in a flash.  The reduction wave or oxidation one may appear or not, but absolutely is dependent on your sweep range.  So the key point about your question is about what you will expect to obtain from the CV, I think.  I kown your research would focus on reduction of some substance, but there are many detailed information you should devote your attention as a potent parameter at the same time.

物质在电极上的反应你应该按照实际问题来分析,而不是按常规怎么样,比如说Ni电极上环己醇的反应就很复杂,先是Ni电极被氧化成Ni2+和Ni3+,之后Ni3+再氧化环己醇,这样说的话,在做循环伏安时就有Ni2+和Ni3+的氧化还原峰。而且对称性还可以。所以只能看实际体系。
