德国汉堡大学物理及化学系凝聚态理论方向直博招生。要求原985高校或中国科学院大学物理专业本科毕业 GPA 4.0及以上，托福成绩90分及以上。 We are seeking for one or two PhD student(s) to join the research group of Prof. Dr. Gabriel Bester in the department of physics and chemistry in University of Hamburg (Universität Hamburg). Universität Hamburg—University of Excellence is one of the strongest research educational institutions in Germany. The PhD thesis work will be focused on density functional theory calculation with many body theory for exploring the novel electronic and optical properties of two-dimensional materials. This position will provide excellent research conditions and full scholarship to cover the life in Hamburg. All the lectures will be given in English and the duration of study is 4-5 years. Requirement: - A bachelor degree of physics obtained in one of the top universities in China with GPA (grade point average) above 4.0. - TOELF score above 90. - Good knowledge of computer skills, including Linux system, Fortran and python languages. - Strong motivation for indepedent research work within the team and collaborations.
