审稿人这句话是什么意思啊

有篇审稿意见：This communication reports an analytical method for nitrate in waters using an evanescent wave based procedure. It appears to be a well investigated piece of work and merits publication. It should be shortened to become more readable and to better reflect the likely importance of the research --- the detection limit is rather high. The principle of evanescent wave is well known and this section could be replaced by references. Also the sketches could reside in ESM. The last sentance in "Conclusion" should be replaced with a positive statement about the practical realistation of the device and a route to improve sensitivity. 审稿人给了这句话：Also the sketches could reside in ESM.不明白是什么意思，求大家指点一下，谢谢啦！ [ Last edited by xiongyansi on 2009-10-11 at 21:06 ] |
