| 罗认为复方药效物质基础应是广义的化学成分，包括无机成分、有机成分和微量元素，在其研究中应结合化学成分的研究，从药效和作用机理方面来说明中药复方制剂的多靶点、有机整体协同治疗作用。并提出“一个结合、两个基本讲清、三个化学层次、四个药理水平”的理论研究体系，并结合现代科学方法和先进的分析仪器来阐明中药复方制剂作用的物质基础。 |

| Luo thought that material base of the complex prescriptions’ drug efficacy should be chemical composition in a broad sense, including mineral composition, organic ingredient and trace elements. Researches on traditional Chinese medicine complex prescription preparation should explain from both drug efficacy and action mechanism combined with chemical composition in order to illustrate the multi-target, whole organic coordination therapeutic action. He/She proposed a fundamental research system which simplified to “a union, two basically explained, three chemistry levels, four pharmacology levels” the, and unifies the modern science method and the advanced analytic instrument to elucidate the function material base of traditional Chinese medicine compound prescription preparation |
