[交流] University of South Carolina招收材料方向博士研究生和博士后

本课题组在University of South Carolina 的材料模拟计算方向, 招收3名博士生和2名博士后。

(1) three PhD student positions：在Biomedical Engineering或者Chemical Engineering program。
研究方向是生物材料，高分子和纳米材料模拟和设计。采取模拟 (量子，分子和coarse-grained)，实验和machine learning结合。博士生提供全奖 (工资$30,000/年; 学费免除)。入学时间是2023年的春季或者秋季。

基本要求：
1. 理工科专业，数学基础好的本科或者硕士都可以申请；
2. 有一定编程基础；对C++, C, Fortran或者Python 有一定经验；
3. 博士生申请最低要求： GPA > 3.2; TOFEL >= 80, or IELTS >= 6.5, or PTE Academic >= 53. GRE不要求。
The expertise in simulations (quantum, atomistic, coarse-grained, DPD, CFD, polymer theory, protein docking or machine learning) or electrochemistry/bio- experiments would be a plus.

(2) two postdoc positions：课题方向是 biological system (proteins, lipids, and nucleotides) ，高分子和纳米颗粒模拟计算。
博士后salary是$55-60k, 初始工作期限可以到两年。一名的入职时间是2023年8-12月；另外一名的入职时间可以是2023年底-2024年春/夏。
要求：
1. the candidate is required to have the expertise in coarse-grained, atomistic md simulations, or/and free energy computations.
2. the candidate needs to have good programming skills in one (or more) of the following: C/C++, Fortran and python
the expertise in quantum, QM/MM, kinetic Monte Carlo, machine learning or polymer theory would be a plus.
