编辑要求将Full Length Paper 改为Technical Note，我该怎么办？

投稿Computer-Aided Design（在计算机辅助设计领域算顶级期刊，IF= 1.4，工科算很高了），历时半年，得到一个major revision 结果，被一个reviwer 建议将Full Length Paper 改为 technical note/short paper， 真不知该怎么办。 不知SCI收录的时候有没有区别 附 EDITOR'S COMMENT: Reviewers have now commented on your paper. You will see that they are advising that you revise your manuscript in a major way requiring re-review. 。。。。。。 The over-all impression of the 3 referees about this paper is VERY NEGATIVE. Since it seems unlikely that this manuscript is accepted as a "Full Length Article", I recommend that the authors seriously consider the recommendation of referee-2 to resubmit this work as a "technical note/short paper". This Editor finds that referee-2's recommendation is quite fitting with the given three referee-reports. Reviewer #2: 。。。。。 I believe that the paper can definitely be accepted as a technical note if that possibility exists. For this manuscript to be acceptable as a full paper, I feel that the scope of the solution must be a little wider or more general. |
