[交流] PolyU PhD Scholarship in 2022/23 (Metallic Materials)

Dr. XS Yang is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (HK-PolyU). He is also a key member of the State Key Laboratory of Ultra-precision Machining Technology, Research Centre for Deep Space Explorations, Research Institute for Smart Energy, and Research Institute for Advanced Manufacturing. The research topics in Dr. XS Yang's research group mainly include high strength-ductility nanostructured materials, martensitic phase transformation, high-entropy alloys, 3D printing/laser processing, HRTEM/in-situ SEM/HRTEM techniques, and Computer Simulations, etc.

Now the research group is planning to support the RGC Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme (HKPFS), HK-PolyU Presidential PhD Fellowship Scheme (PPPFS) and PolyU Research Postgraduate Scholarship (PRPgS) in 2022/2023:

Applicants who are interested in the above scholarships shall:
• Meet the general entrance requirements for PolyU's PhD Programmes;

• Demonstrate outstanding qualities of academic performance and research ability.
