A PhD position in host-pathogen interaction at CityU

A PhD position at the Department of Infectious Diseases and Public Health, City University of Hong Kong Number of position available: 1 Start date: January 2023 (full award) Background: The project will investigate host-pathogen interaction, mainly based on transcriptomics during Escherichia coli infection in chicken embryo model. The applicant is expected to have basic knowledge of biology and string interest in functional interpretation of bioinformatics data. Mentor: Dr. Surya Paudel https://www.cityu.edu.hk/ph/staff/dr-paudel-surya Salary: A stipendium of 17500 HKD/month will be provided Application requirements: Veterinary, Animal Sciences or other related majors. Hardworking and diligent, with good scientific research literacy. English score: TOEFL 79 or above or IELTS 6.5 or above.
