理论上不对称单元是晶体结构中最小的结构单元，通过对称操作可以生成晶胞。 在Xshell里的结构单元，通常情况下就是结构的不对称单元。但是为了确认这点，建议用planton软件检测一下所得空间群，从而确定所得单元的对称性。 An asymmetric unit is the smallest portion of a crystal structure to which crystallographic symmetry can be applied to generate one unit cell. The symmetry operations most commonly found in macromolecular structures are rotations, translations, and screws (combined rotation and translation). The unit cell is the smallest unit in a crystal that when translated in three dimensions makes up the entire crystal. |
