活性炭石墨微晶的有机组合不仅形成了丰富的纳米孔体系,而且其众多的边缘不饱和碳原子和结构缺陷也赋予其极强的反应性,在活性炭的活化过程中,原料中氧、氢与边缘区域中的碳以化学键结合,在活性炭表面形成各种有机官能团形式的氧化物和碳氢化物,如羧基、酸酐、羟基、羰基及醌基等,这些基团使活性炭具有化学吸附和催化氧化、还原的性能,能有效地去除废水中的重金属离子。

The organic carbon graphite microstructure is an intriguing nano-hole system. Moreover, boundaries of unsaturated carbon atoms and structural defects have strong reactivity.  In the activated carbon activation process,  chemical bonds form in the raw material in oxygen, hydrogen, and boundary, yielding the activated carbon surface functional groups of various organic forms of oxides and hydrocarbon compounds, such as carboxyl, anhydride, hydroxyl, carbonyl, and quinone-based.  These groups lead to  activated carbon with a chemical adsorption and catalytic oxidation, reduction of performance, which can effectively remove heavy metal ions in wastewater.

In the activated carbon activation process,  oxygen, hydrogen and edge region of the raw material combine as chemical bond, and in the activated carbon surface functional groups of various organic forms of oxides and hydrocarbon compounds, such as carboxyl, anhydride, hydroxyl, carbonyl, and quinone-based and so on.
