美国 University of Nebraska-Lincoln 全奖招博士研究生 (Biomedical area)

Dr. Jiujiu Yu from the Department of Nutrition and Health Sciences at the University of Nebraska Lincoln is recruiting a highly-motivated Ph.D. student for Fall 2022. Our broad research interests are to 1) investigate the molecular mechanisms of NLRP3 inflammasome activation in the innate immune cells; 2) study the role of NLRP3 inflammasome-mediated chronic inflammation in obesity, aging, and liver diseases; and 3) identify new molecular nutraceuticals to suppress such inflammation (https://cehs.unl.edu/nhs/yu-lab/). Minimum qualification includes an M.S. or equivalent degree in biology, biochemistry, nutrition, or related field. Previous research experience in one or more of the following areas (obesity, liver diseases, extracellular vesicles, dietary molecules, mouse models, microbiome) is highly desirable.
